Who We Are
Volunteer Prince William is the volunteer connector organization in Prince William County, Manassas, and Manassas Park, VA. Our mission is to meet community needs with volunteer resources. Local nonprofit organizations use our web site to post their volunteer needs and events. Volunteers visit our web site to find the volunteer position that is just the right match.
What We Do
Currently, Volunteer Prince William is in the process of recruiting volunteers for the Community Feeding Task Force. There will be opportunities to serve at a warehouse, “the Hub” (unloading, sorting, re-packaging, loading food; as well as administrative opportunities) and opportunities to serve at the smaller locations, or “spokes” where food will be further separated for distribution. Food Rescue Heros will play a huge role as the food trickles out from the smaller locations. Please visit https://pwfoodrescue.org/ for more information.
