Who We Are

In partnership with the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development, Volunteers of America Chesapeake's Rapid Re-Housing Program assists families and individuals develop skills to become self-reliant. This program focuses on getting people re-housed in their own place quickly.  We also provide valuable life skills on-site such as parenting, resume workshops, food bank, on-site mental health therapist, employment search assistance, and housing search assistance.  Homeless individuals and community members in need have been taking advantage of Volunteers of America Chesapeake’s programs in Prince William County since 1990.
