Weekly Happenings - 01/16/2026

Greetings, Prince William: As we step into 2026, we're excited to expand our community impact - and we'd love for your organization to be part of it!  We are currently seeking new community partners throughout Manassas City, Manassas Park, and Prince William County to join our work with the Alternative Community Service Work Program.

Partnering with us is a win-win:

·   Gain community service volunteers to support your mission

·   Receive recognition and promotion on our website database and social media channels

·   Help strengthen and uplift our local community

We welcome partnerships with non-profits, faith-based organizations, and government agencies that are interested in hosting community service participants.

What does it take to become a partner?

Community partner sites must be able to:

·   Accept and oversee participants

·   Complete required documentation (MOU and Site Survey)

·   Track and report hours worked

·   Provide a Letter of Completion once required hours are fulfilled

If you're interested in learning more or ready to sign up to have community service performed at your organization - we'd love to hear from you!  Reach out via email us at info@volunteerpw.org.

Are you a Volunteer Coordinator at a local nonprofit? We want to hear from you, too! We're excited to restart our Volunteer Coordinator Meetings and would love your input on the topics that matter most to you. Your ideas will help us make these meetings relevant, engaging, and valuable. We also want to be sure we have your most up-to-date contact information so we can keep you informed about upcoming meetings and opportunities to connect. Please email us at info@volunteerpw.org with: 1) Topics you'd like to see discussed at future meetings 2) Your current contact information.
