Greetings, Prince William!!
Volunteer Prince William's Untrim a Tree program is coming to a close this weekend! We were able to break a new record for senior baskets this year with OVER 1000 SENIOR BASKETS! Roughly 4000 kids and 1009 seniors are feeling the Christmas magic this year thanks to all the hard work and dedication from local churches, businesses, organizations, individuals, volunteers, and more!

ACTS: Action in Community Through Service also has several volunteer needs. You can assist them with delivering hope to homebound neighbors by being a home delivery driver or donation pick up driver. In addition, they have a need for data entry volunteers and food donation center volunteers. You can view their profile, and all of their volunteer needs here: ACTS Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer Prince William in partnership with the Potomac Health Foundation, has a team of just under 20 volunteer VETS drivers in our area. Our VETS Program assists in getting Veterans and their spouse/widow(er) to local medical appointments, supermarkets, retail locations, and houses of worship. Once signed up, you can set your own schedule and drive as often as your time allows by using our online scheduling program. Inspired by the Benedictine love of learning, BEACON empowers its adult learners to enhance their quality of life! They are currently seeking ESOL volunteer instructors for the winter semester, which runs through March 5th. Morning classes meet on Monday and Wednesday from 9:30am until 11:30am and evening classes on Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm until 9pm. Classes are available on Zoom or in person, with class sites in Manassas and Manassas Park. Ready to help empower adult learners? Get more info or sign up here!
Turn treasures into hope by volunteering at the House of Mercy Thrift Store & Donation Center! You can help sort, price, and merchandise the store to help maintain an appealing shopping experience. Volunteering at House of Mercy directly supports their core mission of feeding and clothing those in need through their food pantry and thrift store. Flexible 3-hour shifts are available between 10am and 6pm and groups are welcome. Find more information or sign up to volunteer here!
