You will meet them in the field at a prearranged location in the morning, typically around 9 am or 10 am, depending on the section and the leader, then spend the morning and afternoon identifying and counting butterflies. If you’d like to volunteer with us or learn more, please reach out to us at alliance@pwconserve.org or 703-490-5200. We’ll send more information or add you to a team. You don’t have to be a butterfly expert to make a big difference! Training is provided.
