The 2026 Bluebell Festival is on Sunday, March 29th at Merrimac Farms WMA. We are looking for volunteers to assist with several roles on the day of to keep things running smoothly:
Parking Volunteer - Lead cars to parking, check for empty spots, keep traffic flowing, encourage cars to park closely
Welcome Volunteer - Welcome visitors at all entrances to the festival, give directions when asked, guard donations
Trail Volunteer - Stand at entrance and exit of Bluebell Trail, make sure visitors enter at the right location, Keep track of tour schedule to answer questions
PWCA Tabling Volunteer - Sit at PWCA’s table, explain our programs and efforts to visitors, share about email newsletter and volunteer opportunities, process donations
Roaming Volunteer - Assist other volunteers when needed, get water and snacks for volunteers, empty trash cans and replace bags when needed
Tour Announcer - Stand at starting point of tours and give regular updates to crowd with a megaphone, Give 5 minute and departure calls, introduce tours and tour guides to those gathered
Wildlife Garden Interpreter - Stand in wildlife garden, ensure children keep a safe distance from pond, share facts about garden, recruit volunteers for garden maintenance season
