Who We Are
A private, nonprofit organization, NVFS is an innovator of efficient, comprehensive service methods, and has been recognized nationally for its effectiveness in creating sustained financial and social independence for its clients.
NVFS is as diverse as the population we serve. More than two-thirds of our staff identify as Hispanic, black, Asian or another non-white race, and our staff speak a combined total of more than 11 languages.
Our Mission is to empower individuals and families to improve their quality of life, and to promote community cooperation and support in responding to family needs.
What We Do
NVFS' services range from the most basic of human needs, to helping families and individuals find paths to stability, to helping children, adults and families realize their full potential.
