The Cooperative Council of Ministries is searching to fill the position of Assistant Meals Ministry Coordinator. This volunteer position oversees the yearly calendar for the meals schedule for the Bill Mehr Drop-In Center and Ferlazzo Emergency Shelter
Duties
- Work with the Meals Ministry Coordinator to communicate and coordinate with churches, civic organizations, and individuals to provide meals at the shelter. The meals coordinator sends reminders to volunteers, and assists in recruiting groups.
- Collect data on food service and communicate with staff on any allergens or dietary restrictions at the center and shelter.
- Attend the general membership meetings every 2nd Saturday of each month to give status reports
- Assist in creating new volunteer opportunities
- Provide feedback to leadership
Reporting relationship: This position works with the leadership of the Cooperative Council of Ministries and member churches.
