The Cooperative Council of Ministries is searching to fill the Digital Outreach and Media Coordinator volunteer position. This position is for two to three individuals who are interested in helping our organization's digital outreach efforts in educating the public online about poverty and homelessness, support our branding, inform the community of our activities, and assist our organization to be more accessible online.
Reporting Relationships: This position reports to the Executive Board.
Required Qualifications
- Experience using Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and Twitter/X
- Experience in using either Adobe software, Canva, Microsoft publisher, and other graphics design software
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Flexible schedule
Duties
- Creating flyers and graphics for events and activities
- Curating content related to human services, housing, social services, church information on our social media accounts
- Develop new and expand on current social media marketing and increase our online branding -
- Creating digital advertisements for community outreach
- Creating quarterly newsletters
- Taking photos at events
- Assist in maintaining our website
- Creating a long term digital strategy
