Volunteer Sign-Up for High Tea 2025
House of Mercy is hosting its 3rd Annual High Tea Fundraiser on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This formal affair will feature curated English tea, locally sourced pastries, and a selection of finger foods. Enjoy a fashion show, a Bou-Tea-Que with curated thrifted finds, and a silent auction—all in support of House of Mercy’s mission to feed local families in need.
The event will take place at Bishop Russell Hall, located at 9290 Stonewall Rd, Manassas, VA 20110.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Setup is from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, and cleanup is from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your shift for a quick briefing. *Setup and Cleanup shifts may end early depending on timing and amount of help.
Serving is from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. Black and White Formal Attire is required. *Please wear appropriate but comfortable shoes.
Important Details:
- Volunteers must be 16 years and older due to the nature of the event. *If 16 or 17 years old, please add age in comments. 16 & 17 year olds need to turn in parent permission slip prior to the event.
- Dress code for tea servers: Black and white attire (black pants, white shirt, or black/white dress). Dress in formal attire as desired. Comfortable shoes are encouraged! Cleanup volunteers are not required to follow this dress code.
