As Film Director, you’ll lead two of WAA’s most impactful storytelling initiatives: Minor Missions and Interview for Impact. You’ll guide youth-driven film projects that spotlight creativity, social change, and authentic voices. From concept to editing, you’ll help shape stories that matter—and mentor others to do the same.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee the Minor Missions and Interview for Impact programs, ensuring projects stay aligned with WAA’s mission and timeline.
- Support youth filmmakers in developing ideas, filming, and editing content that reflects their perspectives and passions.
- Use your editing skills to refine and elevate final projects, ensuring professional quality and emotional impact.
- Respond promptly and professionally to all program-related correspondence via Discord and Gmail.
- Provide guidance to youth participants, helping them grow as storytellers and creative thinkers.
- Maintain clear timelines and meet deadlines to keep projects moving smoothly.
